2014 Callaway products
I'm absolutely delighted to tell you that following on from the amazing success of Callaway's X Hot collection of clubs last year, I now have in stock this year's X2 Hot clubs and they're longer than ever. I also have a full array of demo clubs so if you're looking for more distance and thus more fun, you know where to come!
I have also just received Callaway's incredible new golf ball designed for ladies and seniors, this being their Super Soft golf ball. This is Callaway's softest ball yet, and comes in at a 38 compression which means you can really compress the ball and get it to fly off your clubface, thus increasing distance! You really must try these because they are terrific!
Men's and Ladies' golf shoes
I'm delighted to tell you that I have recently taken delivery of both the FootJoy and the Ecco range of men's and ladies' shoes so if your feet are in need of some loving, please come in and we'd be delighted to show you the new range. As ever, there are some fantastic colours and styles available in both manufacturers' shoes.
Srixon AD333 and Soft Feel golf balls
Several of you have been asking about me supplying golf balls with our club logo on. So, having listened to what you've had to say, I'm really pleased to say that both the Srixon AD333 and the Srixon Soft Feel golf balls are now available with our lovely logo on and at just £19.99, they represent great value.
Men's Scratch team versus Herts U-16 Boys
On Saturday, our Scratch Team took on the might of Hertfordshire golf - the U-16 boys - and came away losers by the narrowest of margins, namely 5 ½ - 6 ½.
Men's March Stableford
On Sunday, we had another good turnout as once again, 64 Men came out to contest the Men's March Stableford. Winning Division One with 40 points was Neil Chapman and the runner-up was Mike Butler with 39 points, whilst Division Two was won by Murray Pollock also with 40 points, the runner-up being Michael Joseph with a very fine 37 points.
Seniors' March Stableford
On Tuesday, our Seniors played and Tony Moody was in rampant mood as he returned a superb score of 41 points, this being enough to win by three points from the runner-up, Chris Roythorne.

Ladies' Fashion Show
Ladies; please be advised that this year's Ladies' Fashion Show will be held on the afternoon of Thursday 20th March. This is a change in format and will commence with a 9-holes' competition, followed by lunch and the Fashion Show commencing around 12:45/1:00pm. As ever, there will be some great clothes and terrific 'on-the-day-only' incentives so please make sure you note this date in your diary and come along for some fun!
Tip of the Week:
Here's a really simple chipping tip for you. If you get a really tight or awkward lie or you're in a real pressure situation, simply play to the ball back of the middle of your stance, use your sand wedge - even from really tight lies - and then keep your hands as far forward of the club as you play the shot. This way, you'll get a really low shot coming off the clubface and most importantly, you'll be guaranteed to hit the ball first. Good luck!
