Club cleaning service
With relatively little golf going on at the moment, now is the time to look at your equipment and how best you can improve it. So why not drop in your clubs to us and allow us to:
Scrub the grips with a stiff brush and plenty of hot, soapy water. This will help clear the grips of any unwanted dirt and grime and will make them feel a whole lot better.
Give the metal shafts a rub down with some very fine wire wool but ONLY IF THEY'RE STEEL SHAFTS! This will help get rid of any pitted areas and make them shine again. If they're graphite shafts, we'll take off any blemishes in another fashion.
And finally, why not clean the clubheads with that same hot, soapy water? Maybe there's some grooves lurking under there somewehere. ;)
All this for just £10 (up to a maximum of 14 clubs).
Would you like the battery on your electric trolley to last longer? Of course you would, so follow these simple rules to increase on-course performance as well as longevity:
Don't turn your trolley on full power from a standstill position but instead, get your trolley moving first and then turn it on.
Don't turn your trolley on and then spin it round 180° because you're facing the wrong way.
Do let it freewheel down slopes.
And finally, and I see this far too often, don't hold on to your trolley and let it pull you along!
So there's plenty happening in the Pro Shop and remember, as YOUR Club professional, I'd really appreciate it if you came to me first if you've seen something you'd like but it's not in the Pro Shop. In just about every case, I will be able to either match or most likely beat the price you've been quoted and not only that, if a fault develops, I'll deal with it quickly and efficiently and always with your best interests at heart.
Remember; "People who know, come to their Pro!"
