Callaway Demo Day
What an unbelievably great day we had on Saturday for my Callaway Golf Demo Day! The weather was stunning and Callaway Golf's new gear was to die for and I'd like to thank each and every person who came along and placed an order. I hope you love your new equipment!
Callaway drivers reduced dramatically!
I have a small selection of Callaway drivers that I need to clear. I have either the Optiforce driver or the X2 Hot driver and they were £329.99 and £249.99 respectively but they have now been reduced to just £129.99 each! Bonkers!!
Snake Eyes 695 hybrids
If you're looking for a not-very-expensive hybrid, look no further because I have just taken delivery of some super Snake Eyes 695 hybrids, which at just £69.99, will be a very fine addition to your bag. Available in both number 4 (21°) and number 5 (24°), they only come in men's right-hand, regular graphite-shafted versions. But hurry, because at this price, they're bound to move quickly!
Titleist company logoed golf balls
Do you have your own company or work for a company that would like some company logoed golf balls? If the answer is yes, I'd be happy to supply you with Titleist Pro V1 golf balls for just £39.99 per dozen. This price includes VAT as well as your company logo in full colour on one pole (on one side of the golf ball) but there is a minimum order of 12 dozen and there may be a logo setup charge incurred if you don't already have a logo set up with Titleist. For more information, please pop into the Pro Shop as and whe
New Masters Aquapel iCart bags
A recent new addition to the Pro Shop's excellent range of golf bags has been the Aquapel iCart golf trolley bag. Available in black with accent colours in either yellow, green or orange, these bags are extremely well priced at just £129.99 and will help keep your golf equipment and personal belongings nice and dry during wet weather.
Ladies' autumn/winter clothing
If you haven't already seen my recent autumn/winter arrivals ladies, I'd urge you to hurry on in and see what's just landed. I've some beautiful clothing from both Green Lamb as well as PING Collection and all the clothing is designed to help keep you warm and dry as we enter the colder months.
Clicgear push trolleys
I recently ordered some Clicgear push trolleys with the hope of selling a few, but such has been the sell-through that the few I ordered have now been sold but have now subsequently been replaced with two new trolleys, one in black with orange wheels and the other black with lime wheels. As many of you will know, these trolleys are first-class in quality and fold down really small too. So if you're in the market for a terrific push trolley, please let me know or come and take a look ASAP.
Have you ever heard the phrase, "Let the club do the work"? If you have, I can assure you it's a load of old nonsense!
Basically, there are three factors to hitting the ball a long way: strike, technique and clubhead speed and the most significant of those three factors is clubhead speed. For example, Jason Day averages 119.92mph and Adam Scott averages 120.27 but Bubba is up there at an average of 123.63 mph which helps him maintain his record of being one of the longest on the PGA Tour.
So if you want to bomb it, start shifting that clubhead as fast as you can! Good luck!
